Entry 9.0: Thinking

Hi all,

I'm in the process of deep thinking for the pass few weeks and God is crumbling down some of my sacred cows and putting in new vision and passion especially on Worship, Justice & Youth. I believe it is a new season and a new chapter in my life and it is so gonna be awesome and adventurous!!!!!!!!!!! Can't wait for God to pour forth and reveal things. My only prayer is that I will obey and go to the ends of the earth to fulfill what He has called me to do! =)

Entry 8.0: Choices

We make choices daily whether it's good or bad. But i think other than trying to make the right choices daily, we too need to own up to our mistakes whenever we make bad choices. It's a learning curve for every human being so long we're still breathing and walking on this earth. I pray that I learn from my mistakes and make the right choice daily. And even if I don't i know that He still loves me. =)

Entry 7.0: Twenty Four

I'll be 24 years old by 0000 hour tonight. WOW!!!! 24..... I've learnt a whole loads of things for the past few years and yes I've been working for 4 yrs at the same place with different co-workers. A lot of things in life that I've experienced by either banging my head on the wall or just by listening/reading/learning from others i would say is one of the things that has helped me grow so much in the past few years.

There's also a community of people that has helped shaped me into who I am today. Just to name a few, first and foremost is my family. A lot of things that I do comes from my upbringing. Like any other family there's the beauty and the ugly side of it. As for mine, being in my family has made me to be a strong person. Through the trials and circumstances that my family has been through (and maybe at some point still going through) I am who I am today. My family as I know it is, is not at all perfect but one thing I do know is that I know they love me and I love them. This becomes more vivid towards my nephew and my niece. I love them more than words can say. If ever there's a requirement for me to trade my life for them, I would do it without a shadow of doubt. Thanx Pak, Mak, Bro James, Che Che Florence, Prince Jordan, Che Che Ann, Sis Rachel, Bro Cliffie, Princess Rena, Bro Daniel (I miss u so much!!!) ,Bro Abraham for a great time of fun, frustration and also for the love poured out. There is not a single day that i don't think about you all especially Prince Jordan and Princess Rena. Love you all heaps!!!!! =)

For all my friends especially Jessie & Jisha, you guyz are CRAZY!!!! A true fren indeed! =).To John & Ai Fuah, thanx for coming alongside me in this journey and believing in me. My life has been thoroughly bless by both of you!!! To all the youth leaders, thanx for all the learning curve that I needed and also for all the encouragement and friendship. Also for accepting me just as I am =) I would like to thanked especially Josh @ Joshie =p for everything. Thanx for all the advice, bouncing off ideas, the scolding (i needed it!) and for listening to me crap for hours and hours =) . I think your life has shorten after listening to too many of my crap! hahahaha =). Also to Mel, thanx for listening to me too sometimes when I need a listening ear and also for the advice =). Thanx to Uncle Philip,whom I really respect for his integrity and faith. He is the one person that believes in the impossible would become possible if only you trust in God. My mentor, Aunty Chiou Lien for being a joy to be with and to journey alongside with. I'm bless by the tenderness of your heart and the gentleness of your spirit in handling life. To my mentees, Val and Kim, it's been a great journey being able to sow into both of your life and it has been a great privilege for me to mentor you both. Seeing both of you grow and fulfill the potential within you is such a great joy for me. To all the youth in Skyline, you all bring joy, fun and laughter into my life. Continue to be totally sold out to Him and Rock ON!

Entry 6.0: Small Beginnings

Never neglect the small beginnings in our life’s as it may be just the thing that’s explodes and turn our life into a great adventure because within every human that has ever place foot on this earth and for those who are to come, there is a great capacity deep within us and in every season of our lives lies opportunity to create and make history!

Entry 5.0: Spiritual Life = Our Life Power Engine

I am getting more convinced by day that our spiritual life which is our power engine so that we are able to live cannot and will can never be substituted with anything else. We can go on rationalizing it by getting busy doing the good things in church i.e lead worship, attend cell, attend sunday celebration but in the end neglect our spiritual life, that just won't do. We are more on the needing end that God is. I believe in every season of our life there is always something that can be learnt and this is what I learnt recently. I asked God this question as I wasn't satisfied with the way I live my life. I asked Him "there is something I am not doing right, what is it?" It came to one thing. I am not taking care of my spiritual life. I'm not guarding it and setting time for it. Most of all I'm not spending time with Him. I let circumstances swayed me to be concerned more of the things around me that what are the things that is in God's heart. I came to the realize that the more busy we are the more time we need to spend with Him. I too am walking in this journey of faith with the rest of my fellow sojourners here on this earth. As C.S. Lewis said,We all want progress, but if you're on the wrong road, progress means doing an about-turn and walking back to the right road; in that case, the man who turns back soonest is the most progressive.

Entry 4.0: Creative Design 1.0: Watercolour Typography

Did something yesterday and i liked it! I got this amazing tutorial from PSD tuts website by Abduzeedo. Check out the tutorial if you wanna try. This tutorial was by Fabio (loads of cool stuff) so check it out (some of the graphics i don't quite agree but I'm sure some would and plus design and creativity varies among different individuals). I learned a lot about mixing different brushes, blending modes, Gaussian Blur, creating my own background and textures. And so, here's what i came up with.

Entry 3.0: the mystery of a christian faith

It still is a mystery that continues to unfold each and everyday which surpasses all understanding. Much of it comes from revelation of the things of God that has been amplified from His words (spoken/written) and birth through much thought and meditation. I hope that whenever this mystery crosses it's way with my life, that I will grab hold of it and let it take roots deep within my soul... =)
